Cookie policy
Last updated 2026-10-27
Homebase uses only the cookies and browser storage it needs to keep you signed in. No tracking, no advertising.
1. What we store
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Sign-in session cookies (set by our authentication provider, Supabase, on our own domain) | Keep you signed in and tell the app whether you are a property manager or a resident | Until you sign out or the session expires |
| Browser storage flag for the welcome card | So the resident welcome message does not reappear after you dismiss it | Until you clear site data |
Both are strictly necessary to make the service work as you expect. Neither is used to follow you across sites.
2. What we do not use
- No analytics or advertising trackers, and no tracking pixels.
- No third-party advertising cookies.
- No cross-site tracking of any kind.
If we add analytics or advertising in the future, we will update this page first and ask for consent where the law requires it.
3. Third-party requests
The site is delivered through Vercel, and the typeface is served from our own site. When you add photos or video to a report they are uploaded to our storage provider. Like any website, these providers see your IP address and browser details when your browser contacts them. See the Privacy Policy for the full provider list.
4. Managing storage
You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. Doing so signs you out; it does not affect your account. Blocking the sign-in cookies will stop sign-in from working.
